Reframing Lives Through Play Therapy
At Reframe Play Therapy, our mission is to create a safe and nurturing space for children to express themselves, build resilience, and thrive emotionally. However, none of this would be possible without the courage and trust of the brave parents and children who take that vital first step to try play therapy. Your willingness to open up to this transformative process is the foundation of everything I do. It’s through your strength, openness, and belief in the power of play that we can help reframe challenges into growth and healing.
We are deeply grateful to those who not only embrace play therapy but also share their experiences with others. Your testimonials are a testament to the profound impact of this approach, and they inspire others who may be considering this journey. Your words provide hope, encouragement, and validation for families who are searching for a way to support their children’s emotional well-being. Thank you for trusting me, for your bravery, and for sharing your stories they mean the world to me and to the families I aim to help.
At Reframe Play Therapy, we are a small but passionate team of one , committed to giving every family the personal attention they deserve. Our dedication to quality and integrity drives me to ensure that each child receives the care and support they need to flourish. Together, with the remarkable parents and children who take this step, we are building a community rooted in compassion, healing, and hope.
My daughter has really benefited from her time in play therapy with Reframe Therapy. When she first started, her confidence was low, and she often seemed to focus more on the negatives than the positives in her life. I could see she was carrying a lot of feelings inside, but it was hard for her to open up and share them.
From the very first session, Stephanie, her play therapist, made her feel safe, valued, and understood. She looks forward to her sessions each week, and it became a space where she could express herself freely without fear of judgement. She was able to talk about things she hadn’t felt comfortable sharing with me before, which I know took a lot of trust on her part.
Over time, I’ve seen a real change in her. She’s become more confident, more able to see the positives, and she’s started to believe in herself again. The most touching part for me is that our relationship has grown closer, we can now talk openly about her feelings, and she feels more comfortable telling me what’s on her mind.
I’m truly grateful for the care, patience, and skill Stephanie has shown. The difference this has made to my daughter , and to our family life, is something I will always appreciate.

Play Therapy has been fantastic for my child, and I can’t thank Steph enough.
Over the course of the past 9 months my child has gone from reluctant to going to school, complaining of tummy aches and being sick due to what we believe was anxiety, difficulty with friendships to a very happy content child. No longer do we experience any difficulties with attending school, in fact he hasn’t had a day off since January! He is now capable of rationalising things better and putting things into perspective rather than difficulties controlling him. This has led to him being able to get to sleep much better in the evening which impacts his overall health and wellbeing. My child has had a few transitions recently with him finishing primary school education which was a moment us as parents where nervous about the impact this would have on him, but we needn’t be, he has taken it in his stride. We thoroughly believe this is partially down to the play therapy sessions he has had with Steph.
My child has thoroughly enjoyed his play therapy sessions and has looked forward to them each week. After his last session he has proudly shown me his box of creations that he has enjoyed doing during the sessions. In his own words “It was good, it was fun, I could talk to her about anything, and it would be a secret, it has helped me, and she was good company. “
Play therapy also got a mention in my child’s school report which as a parent demonstrates how beneficial and valuable his teachers rate it “X clearly enjoys the 1:1 and small group sessions he has participated in this year, such as the play therapy. He responds well to these, and they have supported him to make good progress this year – similar support will help him to continue with this at high school”.
Steph has been a delight to work with, from the first contact she has been professional, understanding, supportive and explains everything very clearly. Without hesitation I would recommend Play Therapy with Steph to anyone whose child is having any kind of difficulty in life. Steph thank you for helping my child to be a happier version of himself!
